Punta Cana Resort has a spacious main
building with reception, lobby, bar and 1
buffet restaurant. "El Conuco" beach
restaurant (during the day). 4 specialities´
restaurants for the evenings (Caribbean and
Mexican food), steakhouse and gourmet restaurant,
"La Sibila" (twice a week included,
reservation required). The rooms are in a
4-storey building, with an inner courtyard
full of lush tropical plants. The Junior Suites
are in 2-storey bungalows. Creole-style shopping
street. Casino, fitness centre and spa. Hairdresser´s
in the neighbouring Iberostar Bavaro. Attractive
pool landscape with separate children´s
pool and large sunbathing area. Sun loungers,
parasols and towels on the beach and by the
pool included. Separate from the complex there
is a shopping centre with small shops, a chemist´s,
bank, Internet Point (extra charge), discotheque
and sports bar (no reservation required for
dinner in the sports bar).
Rooms
At Iberostar Tucan Resort
there are 346 elegant, comfortable rooms or
Junior Suites. All rooms have a large double
bed or 2 single beds and bath, shower, WC,
air conditioning, ceiling fan, hairdryer,
telephone, cable TV and mini-bar (soft drinks
and beer included). Balcony or terrace. Safety
deposit box approx. US$ 2 per day. The Junior
Suites include a living area. Family rooms
(max. Occupation 4 adults and 1 child): 2
rooms with connecting door and shared bathroom.
All-Inclusive
Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet
restaurants with show cooking. Guests can
have dinner in one of the 5 specialties´
restaurants (Tropical, Mexican, Oriental,
Gourmet and Steak House), reservation is required
(twice a week included). For dinner at the
specialties´ restaurants dress code
(long trousers for gentlemen). Snacks and
locally-produced drinks (24-hour bar service).
